One of the first Friday night weddings I have done, Meet GOODNIGHT’S. Talk about a bride I hit it off with the moment I met her! This wedding was an honor to do, the stepmother of the bride won a wedding day coverage at an auction I was a part of in Roanoke, IN. Come to find out Kristia Marie, the bride, is a fellow photographer and graphic designer in the Roanoke area. I had a great time with this amazing couple, family and friends. Here is alittle something they had to say, ENJOY the following preview. This is a look at the moments and images that were special to me! Also check out all the great details thatTia came up with, she did them all! Super creative!
Bride : what was your most memorable moment of the day?
When I think back on our wedding day I remember dancing with all of my closest friends and family around me and Anthony swooping in and just joining in seamlessly; just as he had in my life, instantly a part of the family, instantly a part of me. It is cliché but our wedding day was truly the happiest I have ever been. After all the chaos of planning, from my dress being held hostage at the seamstress to our reception site going out of business a week before our big day, everything went so smoothly, so perfectly it was a dream. Thanks to the amazing people with us that day, including Vilma, it was more than I could ever have asked for.
GROOM:
The most memorable moment of the day was when the doors opened and my beautiful fiancé, now wife, was standing their waiting to walk down the aisle. The moment was one I will remember for the rest of my life. The feeling I felt when she was walking toward me is indescribable.
Bride: What is something you would recommend to future brides planning their wedding?
My recommendation to future brides is to not get caught up in the details. Remember what your wedding is truly about; you and your husband and your families coming together. Please do everything exactly as you want it, take others ‘suggestions’ graciously but remember it is your day. Go easy on your fiancé, this is the first he has heard of a fan fold napkin and he really does care. Get a receipt and a signed contract for ALL of your vendors, you never know when someone will close their doors. Go with the flow, breathe, eat breakfast.
GROOM: what advice would you give future grooms? My recommendation to future grooms is to not let things wait until the last minute. Get involved from day one. Do it right from day one. Don’t settle. If you can afford it and you want to do it then just go ahead and do it! You will regret it if you don’t. Buy things on clearance and off of eBay. It will make big things seem less expensive.
I absolutely recommend GEM PHOTOGRAPHY; to all our friends and family; everyone I know! Vilma is an amazing photographer both in technical skills and the artistic mind required to capture stunning moments. Anyone can pick up a camera and claim to be a photographer but it takes knowledge and experience and most of all creativity to really be great. GEM Photography is more than great, they are the best. Vilma is more than an amazing photographer, she is instantly an old friend, she CARES about the wedding party, cares about capturing the moments. After the wedding all you have are your photographs and we truly feel blessed to have had Vilma as our photographer. We will chose GEM PHOTOGRAPHY, without a second thought for every event in our future. Anthony & Tia Goodnight
