Virju + Shazia Patel l Indiana Wedding Photographer

So here it is FINALLY!!! I wanted to save this for last, it is one of the final weddings of 2010 that I was proud of. It was my first Indian Wedding and beautiful. A culture that I just love, the food, the dancing, the music, the people, everything! WOW! The ladies are beautiful, the guys are hot! MAN! amazing! I was nervous and excited about this wedding but after meeting with the Patel’s, they made me feel right at home. This is part 1 of 2 blog postings of this 2 and a half day event. First it starts with Thursday evening when I went to see Shaz get the Henna tatoo or what is called the Mendi. Then Friday I went to Virju’s house to take part in a ceremony with him and an amazing party that evening. Later I will blog part 2 of the events that took place Saturday and the wedding ceremony and portrait session. I hope this opens the door to more amazing Indian and other culture weddings, I think it is amazing to see how others across the world express love and share their love to one another:)ENJOY part 1:)!

Beyond PHENOMENAL job Vilma! I could not even imagine the pictures to be this great. Ever pose, moment, laugh, etc. was taken just PERFECT. I am actually trying to find the words to express the pictures….you did an excellent job! I wish you had taken my wedding pictures. I know this was your first Indian wedding..but it does not seem that way at all. Cheers to you and your future Indian weddings!

Baby Thomas l Indiana Newborn Baby photographer

There is one thing I have enjoyed, as a photographer, and that is getting a phone call from a past bride and groom letting me know that they are expecting their first child and want me to capture their next chapter and special moment in their journey together. I LOVE IT!!! Here is that next moment for Chris and Shanelle. Meet baby Thomas! I had the honor to capture a few images of this precious little man before Christmas and loved every minute of it. And it was great to see this next part of their life start for them, I can not wait to watch him grow and watch their family grow together:)Enjoy!
